Our Stock

Are your items new?
The majority of our items are not new, but are orignal. We specialise in vintage goods, expect some level of wear and tear as you would expect for the items age.

Are your items reproductions?
No, the majority of our items are completely original and used within cinemas for advertising the film. Check out our product descriptions to review the originality of the individual item, if we are unsure on the item's origin we will state this in the description.

What size posters can I purchase?
We sell posters of all different shapes and sizes, you can search our stock by size under the browse option in the navigation bar and even find the size of a specific poster in the description. All of our items are measured in inches.

What condition will my item be in?
We aim to ensure your item arrives with you in the same condition it leaves us. We do have a condition grading system with 4 main grades; Poor, Fair, Good, and Very Good. We recommend thouroughly checking the images which are taken of the actual item before purchasing. If you would like to see more images before making a purchase, feel free to ask.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you offer tracking?
We do offer tracking free of charge but only for orders which are £30 and over. We despatch our orders using Royal Mail. See more about shipping costs here. Shipping Information

How are the orders packed?
We take great pride in how we package your vintage items. For international orders, we use a thicker more robust cardboard tube.
For domestic orders, we use 2mm thick and very strong tubes. All folded items are sent in a strong fluted envelope which we have sourced based on strength and expert research and never sourced with cost at the front of our thoughts.
All of our packages are well reinforced with protective craft paper, bubble wrap and even strong tape on the outside of the package to further reinforce the package.  We also add fragile and do not bend stickers to the exterior.

Do you offer combined postage?
We can offer combined postage, however we ask that you get in touch with us pre-purchase so we can arrange the best possible option with you - Contact us

If you are buying within the UK we offer free 2nd class postage on all items

When you order multiple items, shipping fees will only apply to your first item because we are able to send multiple posters in one package. However, where an
order spills over into many different packages, we may need to reach out on occasion to request an additional postage contribution.

Can I change my delivery address?
You can change your delivery address under 'My Account' which will prefill the address field at checkout, this can be edited at checkout if you wish to change it for a particular occasion.

Can you ship my order folded in and envelope rather than rolled in a tube?
We tend not to offer this service as we aim to preserve the condition as best as possible. We do from time to time send an item which was originally folded rolled up in a tube (usually to post along with other folded items). Either of these scenarios need to be requested and are completely at your own risk.
We reserve the right decline your request.

Do I need to pay customs charges or duties for EU orders?

You will not be charged customs or duties when receiving your items with the exception of items being shipped to Malta, Switzerland, Norway, Sardinia, Corsica, La Réunion, Canary Islands, Channel Islands.

We work with a specialist courier who guarantee a set customs charge of 21%, this will automatically be added during the checkout process to the item price for each order we receive from an EU country. We also base our shipping costs on the delivery location to avoid overcharging you with a flat EU shipping fee, please note that zero markup is added to our shipping costs.

When do you typically dispatch orders?

For the UK and countries outside the EU, we try to dispatch orders within 24 hours. If an order destination is inside the EU, we dispatch them once per week as part of our process of making sure you do not get overcharged by customs. Orders from the EU will be sent via Royal Mail to Heathrow Airport where they will reach a transport hub in Holland, DHL will take care of your order from there by seeing it safely to your doorstep using a tracked and insured service.

Customer Address Error

In the event of the customer providing the wrong address (no matter how close to the actual address) Rendezvous Cinema reserves rights not to accept responsibility for this customer error. In most cases the item will be returned to us but we are not responsible for how long this process may take whether within the UK, Europe, North America or the rest of the world.

Payments and Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order, however it is important that you get in touch with us as soon as possible before we send it - Contact Us

What payment option can I use?
We accept most forms of card payment, along with Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Paypal. If you are having problems checking out, please Contact Us and we’ll work to resolve the issue.

Is VAT/Other Taxes included?
Our store will automatically calculate taxes based on your region and include the rates within the price at checkout.
Within the UK, VAT will not be added to the total price.

Discounts, Offers & Rewards

Do you offer discounts?
We do offer discounts on orders along with other special offers and sales throughout the year for various seasonal or movie related events, so keep your eyes peeled for those!

How does your order discount work?
We always have several offers running at once and you will need to know which offer works best for your order, remember our offers always encourage buying multiple items so please take advantage of this whilst remembering offers do not stack, meaning only 1 offer applies per order. The best place to find all of our current offers is our Current Offers page, sign up for an account to get notified of new offers and recieve exclusive ones too.

How does your rewards system work?
If you create an account with us, you will gain exclusive access to our rewards bonuses along with other customer discounts which will be emailed to you if you agree to us contacting you.

The neat thing about our rewards system is that you can earn tokens when you shop with us, allowing you to cash them in for rewards such as 50% off a single item!

We have set up the rewards system as a bonus to regular buyers who from time to time only check out with 1 item in their basket (most other offers will be aimed at multiple purchases) so save up those points for that one off purchase!

How can I earn tokens?
For every £1 you spend, you'll get 10 tokens.

You will also be awarded 50 tokens immediately for registering an account with us.

You can keep a track of your tokens by signing into your account.

How do I use tokens?
Over time, you would have accumulated movie tokens when you shop with us, however you do need to be signed into your account to earn. When you wish to cash in your tokens for a sweet reward, you will need to open up our rewards widget in the bottom left corner and select 'How to redeem' You should then see the list of discounts you can earn at different token price points, select a discount.

You don't need to use your new discount code right away, you can hold on to it for whenever you're ready, to view your previously redeemed codes, select 'Rewards list' inside the widget, from here you can copy your one time use code to apply it to your order at checkout!

Refunds & Returns

What is your refund policy?
We offer a full refund, replacement or some other mutually agreeable solution if you are at all unhappy with your item as long as you have a valid reason (such as 'item doesn't match description' or 'wrong item sent' for example) and you contact us within 30 days of your transaction.
