Collection: Henry Koster

Henry Koster came to Hollywood from Germany in the 1930s and spent the next three decades making warm, well-crafted studio pictures, among them The Robe, the first CinemaScope feature. Henry Koster film posters come mostly from his 1950s years at Fox, with Clifton Webb comedies and James Stewart family films.

Dear Brigitte, with James Stewart, comes as ten Italian fotobuste and a US insert. For the Clifton Webb films there are US one sheets and inserts for Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell and Elopement, and an insert for Stars and Stripes Forever. A Man Called Peter comes as a German A1, Take Her, She's Mine as an Australian daybill, and Désirée as a 1960s German re-release. Inserts cover The Inspector General and Good Morning, Miss Dove.
