Marcello Baldi film posters

From Mars, God of War to Stuntman

Marcello Baldi worked in Italian popular cinema of the 1960s, when Rome's studios turned out muscleman adventures and Bible stories in numbers. Marcello Baldi film posters here come mostly as Italian fotobuste, the colour lobby cards that hung outside Italian cinemas, each showing a scene from the film.

Collecting Marcello Baldi film posters

There are six fotobuste for Samson and Gideon and four for Mars, God of War, a sword-and-sandal adventure with Roger Browne. Each card shows a different scene, so a set of them hangs well together on one wall. Stuntman, made in 1968 with Gina Lollobrigida, comes as a French grande and a Belgian poster.
