Lesley Selander

Lesley Selander directed westerns at a remarkable rate, from Hopalong Cassidy pictures in the 1930s to low-budget frontier films in the 1960s. Lesley Selander film posters show the later part of that run, with cavalry forts, stagecoaches and gunfights painted for the matinee crowd, alongside the odd war picture and crime drama.

US one sheets cover Fort Courageous, War Party, Convict Stage, Battle Zone, Strike It Rich and Blackmail, and The Wayward Girl comes as a one sheet and an insert. Six Italian fotobuste for Fort Osage make a good set. Return from the Sea is here as a one sheet, an insert and a half sheet, and US inserts cover Fort Yuma, Fort Utah and The Broken Star.
