Ken Hughes film posters

From Joe Macbeth to Cromwell

Ken Hughes began with tight British crime films in the 1950s and went on to bigger productions, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Cromwell with Richard Harris. Ken Hughes film posters follow that whole path, from low-budget thrillers to star vehicles for Kim Novak, Tony Curtis and James Coburn.

Collecting Ken Hughes film posters

The early films come as US paper: one sheets for The Brain Machine and Confession, released in America as The Deadliest Sin, and inserts for Black 13 and Joe Macbeth. From the 1960s there are US one sheets for Of Human Bondage and Arrivederci, Baby!, and a half sheet for Jazz Boat. Cromwell is an Italian fotobusta, The Internecine Project a US one sheet and a Belgian poster, and Alfie Darling a US one sheet and Italian fotobuste.
